Richard Michael Costello, 78, of Flourtown, PA, on December 25, 2023, beloved husband of 58 years to Carol (nee Jackson) Costello, dearest father of Carol Breen (Teo Rodriguez), Richard Costello, Suzanne O’Malley (Kevin O’Malley), Maureen Costello, Kathleen Costello (Tim Bryan), James Costello (Carrie Etzel), as well as 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Rich was preceded in death by his brothers William and Michael Costello and is survived by his siblings James Costello, Mary Ann Creighton (Ron), and Joseph Costello (Jill).
Rich was born and raised in Philadelphia. He was a 1963 graduate of North Catholic High School. In 1964, he enlisted in the United States Army Reserves. Rich owned Costello’s Automotive Service Center, located at 4358 North 8th Street, Philadelphia, PA, for 40 years. Rich enjoyed playing hockey, tennis, and golf, spending time with his grandchildren, and fishing on his boat at his home in Absecon.
